VISION

Representing the heart and mission of the organization.

AKI is a women-founded and led organization offering safe haven for young women and female-identifying youth between the ages of 13 and 18. When rebranding the organization, it was crucial to create a new logo that showcased the core values of the program, which include love, guidance, and support. The primary icon design represents the building blocks of the program that, when put together, create the heart of the organization.

To further expand the brand, we designed a unique iconography set for their THRIVE program. The style and symbols of the iconography were chosen to appeal to and resonate with the youth in the program.

When designing the organization's website, we had to consider three main audiences: new residents seeking a welcoming home, governmental agencies seeking placement options, and donors who contribute to the success of the AKI programs.
